Paleoparasitology is a discipline that applies existing conventional and molecular techniques to study parasites found in ancient ruins. We focuses on the history of the discovery of parasites from archaeological soil samples and mummies in Korea. The findings obtained by us have brought about deep insight into the status of helminthic infections in Korea’s past populations.
